Smile, Today is U.N. World Happiness Day!

The World Happiness Report 2018, released on 14 March reports that Norway, last year’s happiest nation in the world, has been pipped at the post by Scandinavian neighbour Finland. Denmark, Iceland and our very own Switzerland round out the top 5 happiest countries in 2018. The Netherlands, Canada, New Zealand, Sweden and Australia complete the top ten in order of happiness according to the report. 20 March 2018 marks the United Nations International Day of Happiness, recognising the relevance of happiness and well-being as universal goals and aspirations in the lives of human beings around the world. The The World Happiness Report 2018 attempts to measure the main factors found to support happiness: caring, freedom, generosity, honesty, health, income and good governance.
